Hints and Clues – Using Quick Clicks in PracticeMaster v17

As you are working in PracticeMaster v17, whether in Client files, Contacts, Journal entries or Calendaring, have you discovered “Quick Clicks?” The Quick Clicks pane, located to the right of the pane, is available in all PracticeMaster data files and the Matter Manager, although its functionality differs from file to file.

Tabs3/PracticeMaster Version 17 Now Available for installation
The beta test of the latest version of the Tabs3/PracticeMaster software was completed in December and the software was released for installation for version 16 clients.

We have been beta testing the latest version of the Tabs3/PracticeMaster software. We have been impressed by the new features in Version 17 and expect it will be available soon. Here are some details on the new features:

Another Worldox Inner Circle consultant, John Heckman, has written a book for the American Bar Association called “Worldox in One Hour for Lawyers”. It is a very useful book for Worldox users to have as a reference aboput features in Worldox and how they can be configured. If you are interested in learning more about Worldox, this book would be a good place to start.

Recently, we were introduced to a new version of Legal Anywhere called FIRMCONNECT. We were very impressed with FIRMCONNECT because it allows smaller firms to have what larger firms have been using for a number of years, an Intranet for internal use and an Extranet for client use.
Out of the box FIRMCONNECT offers firms both a unified intranet and client portal to accommodate both your internal and external collaboration needs. The system can be easily set up and implemented by end users without requiring any software development. For one easy price a firm adopts both industry leading tools. And the prices are in the range that smaller firms can afford. $500 a month for firms with up to 20 lawyers.

The Worldox® Citrix® ShareFile integration facilitates direct interaction between Worldox and the ShareFile system without the need to access the ShareFile web interface. With it, you can easily and securely share files with users within or outside of your organization across corporate devices, mobile devices, tablets, laptops, and desktops. You can send emails to users with links to documents for secure download, or you can create a ShareFile “mini extranet” to allow users to log in to ShareFile and browse a tree of files available to them for download.

World Software Corporation has added another service to their cloud capabilities. Recently, they have announced Worldox Cloud Backup and Recovery.

At the International Legal Technology Association conference in Las Vegas last month Workshare announced the launch of Workshare Professional 8, the latest update to their flagship product that’s been trusted by 62% of the Fortune 1000 for over a decade.
