Much like your car, it is important to have regular tune-ups for your software. Unfortunately, there is no “Check Engine” light on your computer; therefore, it is beneficial to schedule regular software updates to ensure everything is working properly. That is where we come in!
Keeping your Worldox up-to-date is essential to ensure your system is operating at full potential.
The latest update to the GX4 code, WDU20, is now available for installation. We’ve been informed by Worldox Support that this is an important update because it resolves several reported issues. Therefore, we recommend getting it installed as soon as possible.
Just a few highlights of the update include:
- Improved indexer stability
- Updated INSO Viewers in Worldox – these are the viewers that allow you to preview a document without fully opening it
- Fixed Worldox crash on certain MAPI (mail application program interface – Outlook) error events
- Fixed issue where a null value in the user’s personal INI (user settings) would cause a crash, mostly on load
- Fixed issue in Active Directory (AD) Sync under certain configurations where User Groups were exploded when not necessary
- Fixed negative filter for Categories from Filter Tabs
- Fixed Custom Fonts, making them persistent in all locations
- Fixed duplicate pop-ups in Sent mail prompt
- JPEG formatted files no longer return an error in right side viewer panel
