On August 17th at ILTACON 2018, World Software Corporation, the makers of Worldox, announced Worldox GX4 Update 14.  Update 14 is a major upgrade and will provide additional mobility productivity features and more powerful email management functionality.

Update 14 contains three components.  The first component is the addition of Task and Notify as standard features that were previously only available by purchasing the Workflow Tools add-on.

The two other components also will be included in Update 14 at no charge!  These components are a redesigned Worldox Web 3.0, and a new Email Engine.

Worldox Web 3.0 comes with a fully redesigned web server engine and user interface.  One industry-leading enhancement is the inclusion of a “soft popup” integration option for browsers that allows the use of Worldox on File>Open and File>Save so the user can access and save documents and emails from their mobile phone, tablet or laptop.  Also, the performance speed of Worldox Web Mobile has been significantly improved.

The new email engine will process messages moved and copied to Worldox on the back end to either  the firm’s Outlook Exchange or hosted Exchange Online. Additionally, the user will be able to assign properties to their existing Outlook folders so that emails can be moved or copied to Worldox when emails are added to the folder.
