The beta test of the latest version of the Tabs3/PracticeMaster software was completed in December and the software was released for installation for version 16 clients.  In order to minimize the load on their support department, Software Technology, the maker of the Tabs3 and PracticeMaster software, decided to allow certified resellers install the upgrade with their user accounts for the first three months of 2014 before release to the client base.  So, if you are anxious to get the new release, please call or email Bill Baker at bbaker@bakercadence.com/ 916-677-4277 to discuss dates for installing v17 in your firm.

Remember, your firm must be on version 16.1 before the upgrade to version 17 can be installed.  If you are on earlier versions of Tabs3 and PracticeMaster we can upgrade your software  from those prior versions to version 16 and then install the version 17 upgrade.

Version 17 is an excellent release with many new features in both Tabs3, Tabs3 General Ledger, and PracticeMaster.  Tabs3 General Ledger users will be pleased to learn they no longer have to move the period forward before making journal entries and the chart of accounts is much easier to edit.  The new PracticeMaster document management features are impressive and is a good alternate for smaller firms.  If your firms is current on Tabs3 and PracticeMaster support, you have paid for the upgrade and should take advantage of the new features.  Check it out!
