Scanners and multifunction printers (MFPs) play a key role in streamlining scanning paper based documents into your document management system.  The process of scanning documents can be time consuming, manual, and a multi-step process.

This process can now be much faster and easier for Worldox clients that have Cannon scanners and printers.  Cannon has collaborated with World Software Corporation to develop Scan to Worldox.  This is an embedded application on the imageRUNNER ADVANCE touchscreen on the Cannon device that enables the user to scan and profile documents to Favorite Matters, Quick Profiles, Workspaces, and Bookmarks in Worldox.

Scan to Worldox is a selection on the imageRUNNER ADVANCE screen and supports both the locally hosted and cloud based installation of Worldox.  Once Scan to Worldox is selected the user is prompted to authenticate with their Worldox user name.  One this is done, files associated with the user’s existing Worldox profile will appear on touchscreen panel in a simple list of relevant matters.  Thus automating the profiling process and saving time at the scanner as well as locating the files in Worldox.
