Introducing Our New Website!

In May of this year, Baker+Cadence Solutions introduced our new and improved website at Please take a few minutes to review the site and we welcome your feedback.

The site is more product oriented so you can find information about any of the products we represent as well as articles about how to implement and use those products.

The site also has been updated for the BCS Learning Center, our internet based product training classes. You might want to check these pages to be more familiar with what training we offer.

Our internet support can be delivered thru our website. So when you need our assistance with a product issue, call us to arrange for a support web session and when ready just go to the website, click on Support and enter the six digit code we will give you at the time.

Upgrade to Worldox GX3

Worldox GX3 has been released for over a year now and has proven to be a valuable upgrade. Many of our Worldox clients have worked with us to implement GX3, but there are still a number of firms that have not yet taken advantage of the upgrade.

If your firm is running an older version of Worldox (2002, GX, GX2) we recommend that you make plans to move the GX3 before the end of the year.

Upgrading to GX3 presents a great opportunity to provide additional training not only on the new features in Worldox GX3 but also as a review of the most popular features in Worldox that we find are under-utilized due to lack of training. The Worldox GX3 upgrade is a good opportunity to provide user refresher training, and your users will be impressed with the new features in Worldox GX3.

Get to know Tabs3 Connect

Tabs3 Connect provides access to Tabs3 and PracticeMaster anywhere you can connect to the Internet. No apps to download, simply go to and log in using your iPhone®, Android device, iPad®, laptop, or even an Apple® computer. Tabs3 Connect gives you access to your client and contact information, fee and cost entry, personal and firm-wide calendar, and more.

On smart phones and tablets, you can tap to create a fee, and flick to scroll through a list. Tabs3 Connect was designed to protect attorneys’ sensitive information. The information you access using Tabs3 Connect is secure because it resides at your office, on your computer. It won’t be stored on someone else’s server in the cloud, or on a phone that you might lose.

Announcing Worldox for Mac!

World Software Corporation® ( unveiled Worldox for Mac, a Mac-enabled version of the popular Worldox Document Management System at the ABA Tech Show in April.

Worldox for Mac includes much of the same functionality as Worldox for Windows, and has been built to provide Mac users with the same business-strength DMS Windows users have enjoyed for 20 years.

Worldox for Mac integrates with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat upon File/Open and File/Save As to save a new file. It also includes full text searching, version control, copy/move/delete functions, check-in and upload, and select email management features. Many other standard Worldox features such as Direct Access, Workzone Drag and Drop and Bookmarks are also incorporated into the Mac version.

The Mac version is not a standalone product; it requires a Worldox back-end including file server and indexer. It was designed for use with existing Worldox GX3 installations or Mac shops that utilize Worldox GX3 Cloud. Firms using Worldox GX3 Cloud can use both Windows and Mac clients interchangeably. According to World Software Corporation president Ray Zwiefelhofer, “Worldox for Mac is a huge breakthrough since it brings the core features of our award-winning DMS to Mac users. Our initial inspiration was the remarkable popularity of the Worldox iPad app we introduced two years ago, which allows Worldox users with iPads to access many features of the document management system on their tablets. With the rising tide of bring-your-own-device, iOS products are everywhere. We realized our customers needed to have both Windows and Mac options available to them.”

Make ALL of your PDF and TIFF Documents Text Searchable with Symphony OCR

Symphony OCR enables users to leverage full text search functionality available in Worldox® regardless of the document source or date of receipt. That means any PDF/TIFF document in your Worldox repository – past, present or future – received via any means (email attachment, e-fax, external disk, thumb drive or scanner) – will automatically be OCRed once it arrives in Worldox without pressing a single button. All PDF/ TIFF documents are text searchable by anyword or phrase found anywhere in the document.

Save it & Forget it- Symphony OCR performs two primary functions within your Worldox repository; it processes all of your legacy PDF/TIFF documents in addition it continuously monitoring for newly saved PDF/ TIFF documents. PDFs and TIFFs saved within Worldox are automatically OCRed – that’s it!
